PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: AVS Video Productions, LLC provides the same creativity and professional service for every video package offered below. The costs are determined by the type of camera used, number of cameras used and the tape format selected.
Quality in video production is measured in horizontal lines of resolution. The higher the number, the higher the quality. At AVS, we offer many options to meet most budgets for wedding videos. We do this by offering different tape formats and cameras.
The 1-chip camera registers 240 lines of horizontal resolution. It is ideal for daytime, outdoor events but has its limitations indoors, especially where lighting is concerned.
The 3-chip camera registers 650 lines of horizontal resolution. It is the preferred camera of wedding videographers because of the high-quality recording capability and the control over audio and lighting situations. This camera accepts both VHS and S-VHS formats.
The DVCAM camera registers 800 lines of horizontal resolution. In addition to the improvement of recording quality, DVCAM allows us to record your wedding, edit and deliver your wedding on digital tape or DVD without any generation loss. This is truly "Broadcast" quality.
One way tape quality is measured is by its capacity for storing video images. VHS has the capacity to store up to 240 lines of resolution. S-VHS stores up to 400 lines, and DVCAM stores up to 800 lines.
